A Mr foster,belonging to Tewksbury Mass,was drowned while skating on
Hackett's pond at Haverville on Saturday last

WRIGHT Mrs. Mary Josephine 29 Jan 1838 1 Feb 1838 In Washington DC on Tuesday, after a short illness in her 30th year of age, Mrs. Mary Josephine Wright, wife of Mr Richard Wright and only daughter of Mr. William V. Jenkins of Baltimore.

In Baltimore on the 24th April, in the 31st year of his age, Mr. William M'CRAY, a native of the state of Delaware.

On the 25th April, Mary Ann, the wife of Robert A. TAYLOR, and daughter of Henry SCHROEDER, Sen.

On the 27th April, Mary Eliza, youngest daughter of Oliver HOLMES, Sen. aged 6 years and 4 days.

On the 27th April, Mrs. GRAHAM, consort of Mr. Andrew GRAHAM.

MCCORMICK - Yesterday morning, Mr JAMES MCCORMICK, in the 57th year of his age.
His friends and acquaintances are requested to attend his funeral this afternoon, at 4 o'clock, from his late residence in East street, between Hillen and French sts., Old Town.
On Wednesday evening last, after a short and painful illness, Mr.
DANIEL HEDDINGER, in the 42d year of his age. He was torn from the bosom of an affectionate wife, and left her and five small children to lament his sad and melancholy death.
On Friday, the 7th inst. SAMUEL HINDES [WRIGHT] infant son of William E. and Margaret WRIGHT aged 9 months and 17 days.
Sleep, sweetest babe, while time shall last,
And then thou shalt appear,
To dwell in heaven with the blest,
And infant angels there.

TURNER - In Charleston, S. C., on the 27th ult., of the Strangest Fever, Mr.
JOHN TURNER, bricklayer, of Baltimore, aged 22 years, a resident of Charleston about two years.

ABURN - On the 6th inst., THOMAS EDWIN [ABURN], infant son of John and Susannah ABURN, aged 4 weeks.

SPENCER - At the Red Sulphur Springs, Virginia, on the 28th August, BENJAMIN SPENCER, of this city.

BELCHES - At St. Kilda Farm, Indiana, on the 23d August, DONALD MCLEOD BELCHES, formerly of Edinburgh, Scotland.

EDMUND - At Newtown, Fairfield county, Conn., Hon. WILLIAM EDMUND, aged 83 years.

VANE - On Saturday, the 22nd inst., Mr. Henry Vane, of Dorchester county, MD., in the 24th year of his age, after a long and tedious illness, which he bore with becoming fortitude.
